Industrial Wedding Theme

Hello there! This upcoming theme is one of my personal favorites! Who am I kidding... I love them all, but there's something about combining metal with rustic wood that truly delights me!

I know, I know... You might be thinking, "An industrial theme in a barn venue?! How does that work?" Or maybe you stumbled upon this post because you love the idea but aren't sure how to pull it off? First... secure a Barn venue for your event... The Barns at Maple Valley Farm is always a nice starting point ;-)

Secondly, select your metal. Copper? Black? Galvanized? Oil-rubbed Bronze? Or a combination? You can't make a mistake! Just take a look at the photo above; they combined black metal from the chairs with copper mugs and flat black candle holders in the centerpieces. Or in the image below, they blended copper geometric shapes with a galvanized container used as a vase.

After making those choices,

focus on the flowers. You can soften the metal's starkness with large blooms or opt for a more muted look with greenery. Incorporate burlap, fabric, or lace to add some texture. Then, sprinkle a few Edison bulbs or patio lights (by the way, The Barns already has patio lights pre-hung both indoors and in the courtyard) to create a warm atmosphere. And there you have it!
